Our next Quarterly workshop will be held on October 25, 2008, at the Radisson Hotel Dublin in Dublin, California. The workshop to be presented is "Changes in the Bay Area Local Court Rules!"  The Radisson Dublin is located at 6680 Regional Street, Dublin, California, (925) 828-7759. The cost of this workshop is $125, if registration is received prior to October 15, 2008; $150 after October 16th. Cost of workshop includes registration, lunch, and workshop materials.

Workshop Description:  Many changes have come into effect as of January 1, 2008 in the Local Court Rules. This workshop will target the counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, and Santa Clara where major changes were implemented. Information on the other counties with minor local court rule changes will also be provided. The workshop will cover the court changes affecting all segments of law including civil litigation, family law, criminal law, probate, etc. A panel of Court Representatives (including Judges) will present the meaning of these rules and attendees will have a chance to ask their questions.
